Dr. Kerpsack is a high volume Anterior Cruciate Ligament surgeon.  It is one of the most common procedures he performs.  He uses the latest techniques including minimally invasive hamstring and quadriceps reconstruction.  He utilizes aggressive therapy protocols to avoid the complications common to this procedure.

Dr. Kerpsack has one extra year of fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.  He has the skill and expertise to treat younger athletes and the unique injuries they sustain.  He is specially trained to treat growth plate injuries and utilizes techniques to avoid problems unique to children and adolescents.  He has served as team physician for many high schools including State Champion teams.  He has also served as a team physician for professional hockey and soccer teams.

Although he has special training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Kerpsack also treats most adult Orthopedic Surgery problems including fractures and ligament injuries.  We offer comprehensive Orthopedic care for all ages.  He has expertise in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, hip and knee.

Dr. Kerpsack has one extra year of fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery.  He has extensive experience in all sports injuries in children.  This is new area of expertise in Orthopedic Surgery and Dr. Kerpsack is at the forefront of specialty care of adolescent sports injuries.  He has served as team physician for many high schools including State Champion football teams.  He has also served as a team physician for professional hockey and professional soccer teams.  He has over 25 years of experience treating all sports injuries with both operative and nonoperative treatment.  Helping people get back to what they love to do is his main goal.

Pediatric and Adolescent Sports Medicine is a new and growing field.  There are unique injuries in children and adolescents.  Dr. Kerpsack is a leader in this field.  For over 25 years he had done both operative and nonoperative treatment of children and adolescents focusing on sports injuries.

There are broken bones that are unique to children.  Dr. Kerpsack is specially trained to treat all fractures in children.  He is also trained to manage growth plate fractures and any complications which may arise because of these injuries.  Because of his expertise he treats many fractures that are sent from other Adult Orthopedic Surgeons in referral.

Growth plate overuse injuries are unique to children. In the past the answer was to just stop playing sports. Dr. Kerpsack wants your child to continue what they love.  We utilize the latest techniques to allow your child to safely return to play.

Dr. Kerpsack has extra training in congenital deformities including the hand, hip, knee and foot.

We offer same day appointments for your urgent needs.  No need to spend hours in an emergency room or urgent care.

No need to wait weeks or months to have a procedure.  We will expedite scheduling your procedure and fast track the insurance authorization process.  All preoperative tests will be scheduled by our staff.  This is very useful to expedite getting insurance approval which can normally take weeks.

If you have a specific day or time that you need your surgery we can accommodate your individual schedule.  We can schedule a procedure on a day that is normally not a surgical day.  Availability may be limited by operating room availability.

Regenerative Medicine is at the forefront of care today.  Dr. Kerpsack specializes in all techniques of Regenerative Medicine which can often treat problems without surgery.  He also utilizes Regenerative Medicine techniques in the operating room to improve recovery by reducing inflammation and promoting healing of the damaged tissues.  As a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon he has the expertise for nonoperative treatment of most bone and joint problems.

Stem cells can be used in the office to treat many problems without surgery.  They are also used in the operating room to help improve recovery.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), also known as Autologous Conditioned Plasma (ACP), is a technique to use your own cells to treat many problems nonsurgically. Your blood is drawn and spun to separate the layers of cells.  We then use the layer with your body's own antiinflammatory cells and inject into the area of inflammation such as tendinitis or arthritis to treat the pain.
